Welcome to the official website of Dixie High School, home of the Flyers.  We are located in St. George, Utah, the heart of Red Rock country and Utah's Dixie.  Dixie High has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students in grades 10-12; we are classified as Division 4A by the UHSAA. DHS is a progressive school, always striving to improve the academic performance of students while emphasizing the development of a well rounded student who demonstrates strong character and involvement in extra-curricular activities and service. These characteristics are expressed in our school mission statement:

Our Mission at Dixie High School is to develop capable, caring, and contributing citizens who exemplify the school's historic motto:  "Pace deo a posse ad esse" -- from possibility to reality.

Dixie High will celebrate its 100 year anniversary during the 2010-2011 school year, and we pride ourselves in this long history of tradition and spirit.  We recognize that we stand on the shoulders of many individuals who, over the past 100 years, have forged what has come to be known as the 'Dixie Spirit.' As we look to the future, we are committed to encouraging excellence in every endeavor as we work to build a dynamic Professional Learning Community where every student can succeed.
